"Thank you for your kind, professional care of my father during his stay in palliative care. During a very difficult time, we found compassionate support and kind, understanding doctors, nurses and volunteers."
Understanding Hospice Palliative Care
The Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton County is a registered non-profit charitable organization governed by a Board of Directors. The Society works in partnership with the Cape Breton District Health Authority Palliative Care Service and other community programs to meet the many needs of palliative care patients and their families.
Hospice Palliative Care service is an approach that improves the quality of life for patients and their families facing challenges associated with life-threatening illnesses.
